My love for bridal shoe brand, Charlotte Mills can be recorded right back to my early days working in bridal magazine’s full time, when I first met the designer herself at a London trade show and she showed me her latest designs (I’d been lured onto her stand by glimpses of flamingos and flashes of embossed leather from the other side of the show)…
This is a woman (and an absolute boss babe, might I add) who knows exactly what her brides want. From sass to comfort, heel height to style – Charlotte Mills caters for every bride. Want a beach-ready wedding sandal? She’s got it. Glitter block heel? Has it. Meghan Markle-inspired court shoe? What are you waiting for? Click here! I’m fairly sure she’s got a magic wand tucked up her skirt, because every time I think: ‘BOY, I love this one, nothing’s going to top this’ she’ll crack out another beauty and I’ll spend days in a SWOON-induced coma.
When the opportunity arose, therefore, to team up with Charlotte Mills on a sponsored shoot, it felt like a match made in bridal heaven (where I imagine the waiters wear pink suits and serve brides-to-be flutes of candyfloss and wedding planners). And, after discovering Spectrum Collection’s Instagram-worthy cafe on Carnaby Street for the location, believe me when I say it was all systems go in the Bridal Editor office (my husband didn’t see me for days, and when I did emerge, it was with mood boards in tow and cut outs of shoes stuck to my trousers).
I therefore unleash my latest editorial on you, for you to feast your eyes upon and (hopefully) fall in love with…
With love, Bridal Editor
