‘Luxury British bridal wear designed for the modern bride. Made in England. Worn around the world.’
Halfpenny London is one of the most coveted bridal labels out there, and is hugely celebrated for her exquisite approach to textiles and embroidery, not to mention her ability to sing to her own utterly-enchanting tune…

Every piece designer Kate Halfpenny touches is threaded with craftsmanship, creativity and love, just perfect for the modern bride who searches for a way to ‘truly express themselves on their wedding day.’ Enveloped in the hustle and bustle of Bloomsbury, London, magic happens in the streets of Woburn Walk where the label’s boutique and showrooms lie (secretly, I think Kate Halfpenny might be some sort of tulle-wielding, embellishment-adorning, dreamy silhouette-making wizard).
The latest collection, Songbird not only goes to illustrate the designer’s passion for skilled craft, but celebrates innovation with her own signature, flourish and twist. Voluminous tulle bows flutter against bold, constructed skirts and sharp, tailored trousers. Layers enchant, as Halfpenny’s renowned flair for encapsulating silhouettes and separates come together to build a collection that will forever steal brides’ hearts.

“My initial inspiration for the Songbird came from an abandoned bird’s nest I found in the garden. It was so perfect and intricate and I was amazed that a bird was able to create such a masterpiece using only it’s beak. It was so precious and had immense meaning and value, yet was made using only scraps.” Kate Halfpenny, Designer

Every piece from the collection, as with all of Halfpenny London garments, is made in the UK and, delightedly, this latest line has allowed for the designer to push further ahead with the brand’s plans for introducing more sustainable measures and to continue to design with a conscience.
