Pearls of Wisdom | Six Stories’ New Collection

Stories

Six Stories, the unique brand founded by creator Lucy Menghini has just unveiled their very first jewellery collection.

As I may have mentioned previously in Six Stories’ personal WFH Diary, for this brand tying the knot is “more than the day”. It is, in their own words, “the moment you get engaged to when you check into your honeymoon suite” and they feel strongly, that “you shouldn’t have to wait until the day to feel like a bride.”

Already stocking the likes of super luxe BRIDEY garms, decadent CHAPTER hair silks, Instagram-worthy journals and dreamy tutu’s (for the mini humans in your wedding party), it seems an extremely natural move for Six Stories to develop their very own beautifully curated – and rather dreamy – jewellery collection. Many of the 18K gold plated new arrivals feature elegant freshwater pearls (to represent wisdom through experience) as “a sentiment to keep the wearer positive as they journey towards their big day, after a turbulent year of wedding cancellations and postponements due to the coronavirus”, the brand explains.

Choose between delicate and heavier link chains, chokers, Baroque pearls and coins as adornments, and D-shape and ring huggies that are just perfect for layering up this 2020/21. Plus, with the opportunity to have your choice of design personalised, theirs no doubt Six Stories’ new collection will make the ideal gift for someone you love.

Stories

Based, and inspired by, the foundation of overcoming adversity, Lucy and the Six Stories team felt the desire to infuse the new collection with the love – and stories – of their customers. The week before the collection launched, the brand offered its customers the opportunity to honour and celebrate their nearest and dearest by naming a piece of the collection after them.

“Nothing feels better than doing something lovely and thoughtful for someone you love, so we wanted to create this opportunity for our brides to be to honour those that have helped them the most, with a piece named after them. We read each story sent into us across the week and selected pieces we felt paired with the story and jewellery best. Each piece in the new collection symbolises the strength & growth of our community after a really tough year for everyone with wedding plans.” Founder Lucy Menghini

The new collection is available now via the Six Stories website here.
