Side note: Trying to edit down the incredible imagery that landed in my inbox from Ritual Unions’ latest collection, Labor of Love 2022/23 was a total nightmare. I wanted to include them all (all 517 of them).

Conceived back in 2017 by Creative Director and Founder, Karin Brettmeister (after designing pieces and collections for the likes of Marchesa and J. Mendel in New York) Ritual Unions breathes individuality with its achingly cool, signature sustainable couture pieces, designed to cause a stir. Beautifully handcrafted, utilising couture techniques mastered back in Paris and New York by Karin, a truly couture garment beckons for your aisle debut. And, BOY will it cause waves.

Forever designing for the individual who wears what they want, when they want to. Ritual Unions’ latest line, Labor of Love is no different. Arriving in a cloud of texture, shimmering pearl adornment, intricate lace, crisp, contemporary lines – all fused together with Ritual Unions’ effortlessly cool DNA, Labor of Love takes on a life of its own with its own unique blend of style – sartorial elegance pumping through its veins. And the movement that comes with each of these looks, they’re just made for dancing all night long under the stars in.

Handmade in Berlin, you can also rest in the knowledge that the brand tries to be as sustainable as possible, favouring slow fashion and only producing designs upon order.

And, my favourites? Why, the Grace gown is just EVERYTHING. Not forgetting, the Eva gown (which was recently featured by styling connoisseur Kiss From Fleur in this phenomenal editorial). But, what’s stolen your heart? Let me know in the comments.
