[AD] Halo & Co bride| Taking to the aisle

There’s nothing quite like being inspired by another bride (especially a Halo & Co bride). Whether you’re fawning hopelessly a bride’s sheer tulle gown with silk underlay, her towering Jimmy Choo’s adorned with shimmering pearls or, in this case, her glittering statement accessories by Halo & Co that’ll knock you for six…

With a city wedding planned (and an incredible sheer lace gown to wear) bride-to-be Sarah knew she wanted to wear Halo & Co’s enticing pieces down the aisle even before the engagement ring was on her finger. I caught up with the bride herself to chat everything from the moment she discover the show-stopping brand, to why she never wants to take their earrings off…

#1 When you first started looking for your bridal accessories, where did you start looking for inspiration?

“Like any bride, I was so excited about planning my wedding, so as soon as Graig asked me to marry him I started a Pinterest board. That way I could gather all my fav looks. I spent many hours on blog sites as I found real weddings had more inspiration for me.”

#2 How did you come across Halo & Co?

“My sister had a Halo & Co when she got married and I already knew that was what I wanted even before the proposal!!”

#3 What drew you to the brand when you discovered it?

“As I was having a city wedding I knew I wanted my outfit to be stylish and modern so that’s what I looked for from all my suppliers and Halo fitted that requirement. I could instantly see from their website that I liked the vibe they put out and to be honest, there were looks I haven’t even thought about.”

#4 What made you choose the beautiful Eliza earrings and the Lilly of the Valley tiara? How did these pieces complete your overall bridal look?

“I had a meeting with Nicola and Stephanie in their North Wales Studio. It was like Aladdin’s cave of sparkly things!! This was perfect for me as I could try on different shapes and styles whilst getting style advice from the team at Halo & Co. They discussed with me the overall look of the wedding and how I wanted to reflect my own sense of style which I thought was really great. As soon as I tried on Lily of the Valley I fell in love with it and teamed it with the statement earrings. I felt amazing! I still wear the earrings all the time and can’t wait until I go somewhere where I can put the tiara back on again!”

#5 How did they both feel to wear on the big day?

“Both pieces were light and comfortable and had a vintage gold colour so looked super stylish. My hairdresser gave me a high ponytail that just worked perfectly with the pieces.”

#6 What did you think of the Halo & Co service

“The best bit was receiving the items in the post as I was unable to travel back up to North Wales from London before the wedding due to work. When I got the box there was a mixed feeling of nerves and excitement. The pieces were beautifully boxed in grey packaging and in little dust bags so it was like Christmas. The pieces were beyond my expectations and I can’t recommend Halo & Co enough.”

#7 Will you wear your Halo & Co piece post-wedding?

“I already have! The earrings are a go-to item for me and I have worn them as a guest to weddings, parties and on holiday! I hate having to take them off!

Choosing my accessories for the wedding with the girls at Halo & Co was definitely one of the highlights of my wedding planning. One of my favourite things about Halo & Co is how varied their collections are. The fact that they don’t just do bridal meant that my new hubby could buy me a set of earrings for my birthday and perhaps future wedding anniversaries!”
