Behold the new Philippa Long 2019 Bridal collection. Modern. Contemporary. Sought after. Chic. Decadent, yet quietly luxurious. For the cool bride (the one who doesn’t want to listen to the traditional rules). Minimal. Enticingly different, with an air of elegance. Effortlessly à la mode. Now.

The Phoebe Jumpsuit
The Phoebe Jumpsuit
“She will wear it with all her personality, grit and style.” Philippa Long
Born out of a one-off bespoke commission, Philippa Long bridal Wear was launched in 2014 and has since become an integral part of the label. Threaded into the seams of this fresh, enticing line is everything the brand is known for: a beautiful cut, draped fabric, undeniable craftsmanship and the finest of materials, not to mention cool, effortless glamour.

“The bride wearing Philippa Long is a woman of substance who will not be overwhelmed by her dress.” Philippa Long

Prepare to crush all original wedding dress plans as soon as you lay eyes on the designer’s 2019 collection. Whether it’s the Phoebe Jumpsuit that steals your heart with its silk cut float jacquard (woven here in the UK in Sudbury, Suffolk), the Hera gown with its luxurious heavy silk crepe or the Niamh skirt and bomber, this line will entice the wild bride out of you and seep into your veins.

There are two particular key elements of this line that I personally love. The first is a collaborative piece on which Philippa Long teamed up with embroidery artist, Chloe Amy Avery. The Chloe embroidered bomber flaunts the word ‘FOREVER’ on its back in glittering gold embellishment and will instantly seduce every brides’ inner magpie. While the mere presence of the designer’s Gold and Nude Mantilla Veil will immediately enchant with its cool, whimsical vibe and frothy petals that will flicker with style as a bride takes to the aisle.
