“Get married at the Plaza they said… We will, but we’ll do it our way. We will tear up tradition one sequin boot at a time with reckless abandon and dance ‘til dawn. Bisou Bisou.” Grace Loves Lace
Get ready brides, cos’ one of your favourite Aussie bridal brands is calling with their latest ready-to-wear capsule collection for 2022, and BOY is it good. Meet Bisou Bisou. She comes with two new ready-to-wear gowns in tow (Carmen and Valentina), and a high-voltage jewel-encrusted veil that’ll make sure you GLITTER your way down the aisle (Celestial Veil). What’s not to love?

Carmen is elegant, sassy and – as ever with Grace Loves Lace – a fresh take on lace with a frilled side split, low sultry back and aisle-worthy train. Valentina on the other hand brings forth a double layer ivory satin that effortlessly drapes across the female form, cinches in the waist and offers up a cool cutout at the back. And, that veil? Well, to say it’s a show-stopper is an understatement. Achingly cool with a dash of glamour, this heavenly creation is all set to cause a stir with modern brides across the globe. Already obsessed? I hear you.

“When I started GRACE over 10 years ago, I was on a mission to pioneer a new and exciting way of doing bridal and to revolutionise the whole bridal shopping experience. I find it so inspiring to see couples in this post-Covid world moving away from what is considered a ‘normal’ wedding and opting for elopements, whirlwind weddings and designing a day that is authentically them,” explains Creative Director, Megan Ziems.

We also need to talk about those sequin ankle boots – holy moly do I need to find myself a pair of those, and NEVER. TAKE. THEM. OFF.
