The Q&A
#1 What’s your career background – how did you get into LFF? How did the brand start? Do you do LFF part-time? Or full-time?
“I have always been into fashion and getting creative as long as I can remember, studying fashion design at university and onto working as a clothing designer in Manchester. After 10 years in the industry Covid came along and made me redundant giving me the push I needed to be creative on my own terms. Setting up LFF full time – made to order fashion and bridal accessories. Initially with face masks during the pandemic, there was such a gap in the market for products that were functional yet still fashionable.”
#2 Tell us more about what you offer brides at LFF…
“My best sellers have been in bridal and it’s where I’m expanding the brand, made to order face masks with pearly embellishments became a big hit with brides still wanting luxe, fashionable accessories for their special day. These were also feature in Vogue which was an amazing moment for my brand.
The bridal collection grew with other made to order accessories from scrunchies, headbands and charms. Bow barrettes with pearly monograms soon became LFF’s best seller, personalised, truly unique and one-of-a-kind. Double layered satin and tulle adding a luxe feel and finished with a branded woven label. Customisable with a hand embellished pearly monogram detail. A keepsake for the most special day, creating memories to last a lifetime from hens, weddings and honeymoons. Accessories are ALWAYS a good idea!”

#3 Is everything you stock at LFF handmade?
“Yes. Everything at LFF is handmade, from design, pattern cutting and construction. Made to order not only to reduce waste and utilise fabrics but to add that personal touch to every piece. I package all my orders by hand and always give that extra attention to detail whether that’s gift wrap, personalised notes or postcards popped into every order.”
#4 What are your hopes for the future in terms of the brand?
“I hope to continue to expand LFF bridal creating unique personalised pieces. People trusting in me to create these treasured details for special occasions is something I will be forever proud of.”

#5 Who inspires you in the industry?
“Since getting married a few years ago, I was so inspired by the most amazing group of suppliers and it’s what extended my love for bridal. My wedding dress was by Kate Halfpenny made up of separates which really tailored my outfit to be exactly as I wanted. Moving out the box with bridal and showing you can take elements of traditional but still be individual, incorporating your own style.”
