“I was inspired by fashion and black and white photography and my intention was to create something timeless and unique to inspire couples I work with.” Tina Dorée, Wedding & Editorial Photographer

If, like me, you have a penchant for high fashion-inspired, glossy black and white photographs that capture those unposed, authentic unforgettable moments in life, you’ll love the work of Tina Dorée Photography and this sublime editorial the photographer shot and organised at the Roomers Hotel in the heart of Munich.

Arriving in a wave of Kaviar Gauche tulle and heartbreakingly beautiful pearl details (did you see those Jimmy Choo pearl platforms?) this glamorous elopement-inspired editorial brings heavenly high fashion details to life alongside a heavy dose of bridal cool. With a team of talented creatives on board Tina Dorée shot some truly magical shots within the walls of the Roomers Hotel.

“The concept of this shoot revolved about creating a timeless and authentic elopement vibe. I chose to shoot in a hotel suite, as it so often is the case that couples stay the night in a luxurious environment to enjoy their last unmarried night. Black and white photography brings out a lot of details, and the use of window light reveals the amazing structure of the Kaviar Gauche dress. I usually keep things simple and therefore decided not to go with a big table arrangement, and the dress takes all the attention it needs. I think the small bar and coffee table arrangements make the setting more authentic and the scene more interesting.”

I particularly loved the choice of accessories that glitter their way through these beautiful images. From those shimmering Jimmy Choo shoes to the gorgeous Cult Gaia clutch. “For the styling we choose the pearl theme but in a rather decent way. While the dress is made without any we included pearls in the accessories like the shoes, the clutch bag and even the eye make up. Which makes the look rather unique but not intrusive.”
